Biko it's not compulsory, Ah Ah some ladies just end up embarrassing themselves all in the name of catching flowers. Some even go to the wedding reception prayerfully, like Seriously?? On top wetin. Though I heard from the oyinbo perspective it brings good luck, that is, the bride will get married soon too.         I remember one wedding I attended, and at the reception the MC called the single ladies out for the bouquet throwing, Hnmmmmm I just saw the chief brides maid changing the bouquet to one wretched flower like that,in my mind I was like that flower can only bring badluck. Why they don't throw their bouquet again I don't know. Wharefa it's not my business. That reminds me of one flower I saw a bride holding, that one looked like a mixture of bitterleaf and ugwu leaf with ribbon at the end. I went on holiday to warri, my cousin lives there and based on the gist have heard about warri ,I was so excited to visit the great waffi people's land and the main pidgin land Where pidgin English is spoken with swag and style.             My cousin had a very funny neighbor who would wake up very early in the morning humming Delta songs and after that he will Pray and report every one who had offended him many years ago,months ago,weeks ago and even the previous day to God and his children and wife kept shouting a resounding Amen to his prayers.,my cousin said she once heard her name in his prayer report to God and her offense was that she didn't greet him. His wife too would pray and report to God also,his children most times didn't have any one to report to God most times but on this particular day, one of the man's kids decided to report those who have offended him to God,he started thus, Oh Lord Jacob beat me for school Yesterday, o Lord May you beat am too"
