Millions of worshippers, at the weekend grand finale of the annual Holy Ghost Congress of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), roared in disapproval as the General Overseer of the ministry, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, hinted at his possible passing, reports the Nigerian Tribune. Jummai Musa, 28, is a mother-of-seven, all of which she had in the space of five years. She opened up to Daily Trust on how she achieved the feat. Daily Trust: Did you plan to have so many children within the space of five years? Jummai Musa: (Laughter) It was not that I planned to have seven children within that period or to have so many children in the first place. It so happened that I was married for three years and didn’t have a child. I didn’t even get pregnant. My husband and I are farmers and didn’t have money to do tests to confirm if there was anything wrong with either of us. All we had were our prayers, God and support of our families and friends. God answered us after three years and I had a baby girl. Two years after I had her, I was pregnant again and so excited about it. It was even more exciting to everyone who knew us when we discovered in my second trimester that they were twins. I danced, and my husband was so happy and especially happy when he was later told t...

Monday Delight :Chastity

Image
Am inspired by the spirit of God to lay golden words into the hearts of ladies all over the world, as it has been laid in my heart.I will try as much as possible to be simply and intense as well because this is one area which has to be emphasized upon in the life of youths and ladies particularly.      To be chaste means to be innocent and having no sexual experience, abstaining from sexual intercourse and being morally pure. Chastity is the state of abstaining from sexual intercourse before or outside marriage, it also means avoiding of sexual sin. All this words and definition brings us back to sex as an entity.           Gone are the days when sex was seen as sacred. If you have heard of it you dare not talk about it or ask questions about it or else you are tagged as a bad child,in fact many parents instilled fear in the hearts of there girl child by telling them "once a boy or man touches you,you will beco...

Must you catch the bride's bouquet at a wedding?

Image
Biko it's not compulsory, Ah Ah some ladies just end up embarrassing themselves all in the name of catching flowers. Some even go to the wedding reception prayerfully, like Seriously?? On top wetin. Though I heard from the oyinbo perspective it brings good luck, that is, the bride will get married soon too.         I remember one wedding I attended, and at the reception the MC called the single ladies out for the bouquet throwing, Hnmmmmm I just saw the chief brides maid changing the bouquet to one wretched flower like that,in my mind I was like that flower can only bring badluck. Why they don't throw their bouquet again I don't know. Wharefa it's not my business. That reminds me of one flower I saw a bride holding, that one looked like a mixture of bitterleaf and ugwu leaf with ribbon at the end. To every bride getting married today May God bring you unending joy in your marriage. Amen!
